Each locket is designed to hold a specific number of charms, which is provided as a guideline within each product description.
If you choose more charms than recommended, they won’t go to waste - you can mix and match your look over time and store any additional charms safely in your charm pouch.
Will my locket arrive already assembled?
Your locket will arrive beautifully packaged but not assembled. This allows you to enjoy placing each chosen charm inside yourself, making the experience more personal and meaningful - especially if gifting to a loved one.
What are your lockets made from?
Our lockets are crafted from high-quality stainless steel with colour fade-resistant plating, designed for everyday wear. They are tarnish-resistant, water, sweat, and heat resistant, helping to maintain their finish over time while remaining gentle on the skin.
How do I open my locket?
Each locket style has its own opening mechanism, designed to keep your charms secure. You can find guidance on how to open your specific locket within the product image gallery.
Can I personalise my locket?
Yes - you can personalise your locket by adding charms, engravable charms, or engraved backplates depending on the style. Our Imprint Collection also allows you to engrave fingerprints, handprints, or footprints, along with a personal message on the reverse. Each product description will outline the available options.
Do the charms move around inside the locket?
Yes - charms are designed to move freely within the locket, creating a natural, floating effect. This movement adds to the charm and individuality of your piece, ensuring it looks slightly different with every wear.
What if I order more than one locket as gifts?
If you’d like specific charms placed with certain lockets, please leave a note at checkout or email orders@mylittlelocketco.co.uk with your order number and instructions shortly after placing your order, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Will my order come with a gift box?
All orders come with our standard locket gift box and pouch. You can upgrade to our luxury gift box experience for a small additional fee. This includes a larger presentation box that holds your gift box and pouch securely, care cards, and a branded gift bag with ribbon - perfect for gifting.
We never include invoices or paperwork, so your order can be sent directly as a gift with complete peace of mind.
Will my order include a charm pouch?
Charm pouches are included with all locket purchases and with our luxury gift box upgrade.
If you are purchasing charms on their own, a pouch is not included as standard. This helps us keep packaging minimal and avoids unnecessary duplication for returning customers.
If you would like an additional pouch, these are available to purchase separately.
Do I need to upgrade to the luxury gift box?
While not essential, the luxury gift box enhances the overall experience - offering a beautiful way to present, store, and protect your locket and charms.
