Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 September 2026
These Terms of Service apply when you use the My Little Locket Co website or place an order with us.
By placing an order, you are agreeing to these terms. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
1. About My Little Locket Co
My Little Locket Co is an online jewellery business based in South Wales, United Kingdom.
Our contact and business information is available through the Contact Information section of our website.
2. Our Products
We take care to describe and photograph our jewellery as accurately as possible.
Please be aware that colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on lighting, photography and the screen or device you use to view our website.
Our jewellery is designed to meet the descriptions and specifications shown on the relevant product pages.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights where goods are faulty, not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose or not as described. These are statutory requirements under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
3. Creating Your Locket
Our lockets can be personalised by choosing from our collection of compatible charms.
Charm capacities vary between locket styles, and larger Statement or Engraved Charms may take up more space than smaller charms. Capacity and compatibility guidance is provided on the relevant product pages.
Please check your chosen combination and any compatibility information before placing your order.
4. Personalised & Engraved Charms
Where you purchase a personalised engraved charm, you are responsible for checking that the information you enter is correct before completing your order.
Character limits and engraving requirements are displayed on the relevant product page.
We will choose an engraving layout that best complements the wording provided and the shape and available space of the charm.
If you notice an error after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible. If engraving has not yet begun, we will do our best to amend your order, although changes cannot be guaranteed.
Once personalisation has begun, personalised items cannot normally be changed or cancelled simply because you have changed your mind.
This does not affect your statutory rights where an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or has been personalised incorrectly by us.
5. Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, you are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide, including your delivery address and any personalisation details, is complete and accurate.
After your order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation using the contact details provided at checkout.
If we are unable to accept or fulfil an order, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund for any amount already paid for the affected item or order.
6. Prices & Payment
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£).
The total price payable, including any applicable delivery charges, will be shown before you complete your purchase.
Available payment methods will be displayed at checkout.
Optional extras will only be added where you choose to purchase them.
7. Luxury Gift Experience
Our Luxury Gift Experience is an optional paid packaging upgrade.
Where purchased, your jewellery will receive the additional presentation elements described on the relevant product and Gift Packaging pages.
The Luxury Gift Experience also includes complimentary Express Tracked Delivery for the order. Customers should select the eligible Express Tracked Delivery option at checkout for the delivery charge to be removed.
8. Dispatch & Delivery
Standard orders are usually dispatched within 1–2 working days.
Orders containing a personalised engraved charm are usually dispatched within 1–3 working days.
Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK Bank Holidays.
Delivery estimates begin from the date of dispatch and are displayed on our Delivery Information page and at checkout where applicable.
We currently deliver throughout the United Kingdom using tracked delivery services.
Occasionally circumstances outside our immediate control may cause delivery delays. If there is a problem with the delivery of your order, please contact us so that we can investigate and provide an appropriate resolution.
9. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds
Your cancellation and return rights depend on the type of product purchased.
Eligible non-personalised products may be returned in accordance with your statutory cancellation rights and our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Personalised or engraved products created specifically for you cannot normally be returned simply because you have changed your mind.
Full information about cancellations, returns, return postage and refunds is provided in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Nothing in these terms or our Returns & Refunds Policy affects your statutory rights.
10. Jewellery Care
Our jewellery is designed to be water, sweat and heat resistant, but it is not waterproof and should not be submerged in water.
We recommend removing your jewellery before showering, bathing or swimming and avoiding unnecessary contact with perfumes, lotions, harsh chemicals and abrasive surfaces.
Full care instructions are available on our Jewellery Care page.
11. 2-Year Quality Guarantee
All My Little Locket Co jewellery is covered by our 2-Year Quality Guarantee against manufacturing faults, beginning from the date of purchase.
The guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, loss, scratches or damage caused by improper use or care.
Our 2-Year Quality Guarantee is provided in addition to your statutory rights and does not replace or restrict them.
Full terms of the guarantee are available on our 2-Year Quality Guarantee page.
12. Website Information
We aim to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date.
We may update product ranges, prices, website content or these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes to these terms will apply prospectively and will not alter the terms of an order already placed unless required by law or agreed with you.

14. Liability & Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
In particular, nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights in relation to goods that are faulty, not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose or not as described.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom.
If you are a consumer, you retain the benefit of any mandatory protections and rights that apply to you under applicable consumer law.
