How many charms can I add to my locket?
Each locket description includes a recommended guide for how many charms it can comfortably hold, depending on the size and style of the pieces you choose.
If you select more charms than needed, any additional charms will be included separately. If you’ve chosen our gift box upgrade, these will be presented within your charm bag - allowing you to swap and style your locket whenever you wish.
Can I change or add charms later?
Yes - your locket is designed to evolve with your story. You can open it and update your charms whenever you like, allowing you to add new memories over time.
Will my locket arrive already assembled?
Your locket will arrive beautifully packaged and ready to be gifted. We do not pre-assemble the charms, allowing you - or your recipient - to place each piece inside the locket yourself.
This adds a thoughtful and personal touch to the experience, making the moment of opening and arranging each charm just as special as the locket itself.
What are your lockets made from?
Our lockets feature a high-quality, durable 18k gold-plated finish over a copper base, specially finished to be fade and tarnish resistant.
Each locket is paired with a 24k gold PVD-coated stainless-steel chain, chosen for its durability and long-lasting finish. The chain is waterproof and hypoallergenic.
Each piece is designed to be durable and suitable for everyday wear, with resistance to water, sweat, and heat - so you can wear your locket with confidence.
Can I wear my locket every day?
Absolutely. Our lockets are made to be worn daily and are water, sweat and heat resistant. We recommend avoiding direct contact with perfumes and chemicals to maintain their finish.
How do I open my locket?
Our lockets feature a variety of opening styles, all designed to be secure while still easy to use.
To help guide you, each product’s image gallery highlights exactly where and how your locket opens. This ensures you can confidently add, remove, or rearrange your charms whenever you wish.
Is this a good gift?
Our lockets are designed with gifting in mind. Each piece arrives beautifully packaged, ready to be given and cherished - making it a meaningful and personal gift for any occasion.
For a more elevated gifting experience, we recommend upgrading to our luxury gift box.
Will my order come with a gift box?
All orders come with our standard, beautifully presented locket gift box, making them ready to gift from the moment they arrive.
You can upgrade to our luxury gift box experience for a small additional fee. This includes a larger keepsake box designed to store your locket and charms safely, with soft velvet compartments to hold your pieces in place. You’ll also receive a charm bag to organise your collection.
We do not include any invoices or paperwork in your order, so you can send your gift directly with confidence. Care instructions and a polishing cloth are included as standard with every purchase.
What if I want to order more than one locket?
If you’re ordering multiple lockets as gifts and would like specific charms paired with certain pieces, simply leave a note at checkout with your instructions.
Alternatively, you can email us at orders@mylittlelocketco.co.uk with your order number and requirements shortly after placing your order, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Can I personalise my locket?
Yes - each locket can be made uniquely yours through a range of personalisation options.
You can add engravable charms to any locket, or for selected styles, choose an engraved backplate featuring a handprint, footprint, or fingerprint, along with your own message. Some lockets can also be engraved along the side for an additional personal touch.
Available options will vary depending on the locket’s style and size, and each product description will guide you through what’s possible for your chosen piece.
What if I choose too many charms?
If you select more charms than can comfortably fit inside your locket, any extras will be included separately so you can switch and style your locket whenever you like.
Do the charms move inside the locket?
Yes - the charms are designed to move freely within the locket, creating a soft, natural movement as you wear it.
This floating design allows each charm to shift and settle differently throughout the day, giving your locket a unique and ever-changing look.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Each order is carefully prepared before dispatch. Standard delivery is 3-5 days. If you need your order quicker we offer a next day delivery option - order before 12pm.
